Beauty Favorites of Summer '16

It's the end of August and as soon as September arrives I feel like summer is almost over and autumn is just around the corner so I wanted to show you what products I loved to wear this summer.

For my face I finally found a facial creme which doesn't make my face feel awfully sticky, has a nice smell and just makes my skin feel moisturized - and that's the Weleda Soothing Facial Creme. Other than that I absolutely loved the benefit Hoola Bronzer for conturing and the Maybelline Master strobing stick for highlighting (I have the number 200 Medium-Nude Glow).

For my nails I liked to keep it simple with two Essie nail polishes - Essie limo-scene and Essie pure pearlfection as a top coat.

Quick Smoothie Recipe

I feel like this is going to be the last week of hot summery weather so I will definitely make the most out if it and something that can't be missing is a delicious smoothie when it's 30 degrees outside. In this one I only blended 1 banana, 1 mango and 2 nectarines together with water et voilà a delicious smoothie is served. Perfect way to start the day or as a little snack for in between :)

Avocados are Life*

ClashCases was so kind to send me one of their phone cases to test out. I really like the design but unfortunately I found it a bit difficult to put the case on and especially to take it off again. But looking at the positive this probably means that this case gives the support and protection a case is actually for ;)

Easiest and Healthiest Cookies I know

Okay when I say cookies I have to say first that those cookies are definitely softer than the ones you probably know but I personally don't mind the consistency. I have mentioned my little obsession with bananas beforehand so first ingredient you will need are some ripe bananas which you have to mash up, then you need to add oats and that's basically it. I don't follow any measurements. You just have to keep adding oats until the mixture looks like it sticks together just fine and then place little piles on a baking tray. I have also added some cocoa powder as well as a walnut and cranberry on the top.

Easy Friendship Bracelet DIY

I love wearing bracelets and especially if they have meaning like when I get them from people that are important to me or when they are self made and someone actually took the time to make it. During the past week making bracelets became my new little hobby and maybe also a little obsession haha
I started trying some easy ones first and the ones you can see in the photos above are super easy and I like how they aren't two thick. With this blog post I would like to show you a beautiful etsy shop I recently came across. Love Paper Wishes is what Amy's shop is called and where you can find beautiful detailed wedding stationary. I love her designs and it makes me look forward to maybe/hopefully getting married one day.
